1. Who are Bryon and Mark?

• Bryon and Mark are "brothers" because Mark is adopted.Mark is small with golden hair and bright eyes and Bryon is big with brown hair and eyes.Even thought they are not actually brothers, they still always love each othe like brothers.

2. Who are the two young people Bryon meets at the hospital?

• At the hospital Bryon meets a young boy named Mike Chambers who was beat up in a fight after trying to help someone and he mets a girl named Cathy Who was one of his best friends, M&M's, sister who was working in the hopsital cafe at the time.

3. What kind of relationship does Bryon have with Charlie?

• They are best friends because Bryon used to go out with Charlie's sister so he gives Bryon and Mark discounts on sodas and lets them play pool.

4.What happened at the dance?

• At the dance, Bryon and Cathy are having fun and then a boy named Curtis tells Bryon Mark's really hurt. When Bryon gets there Mark's on the ground unconcious and bleeding badly. When he goes to the hospital he does end ep getting stitches.

5.What does Bryon Start to discover in his private conversations with Mark?

• He relized exactly how much he meant to Mark as a brother and that Mark thought that Bryon was his real brother but their mother wasn't his real mom.

6.What happened to Charlie?And how do Bryon and Mark feel about it?

• Charlie got shot by a gang member in the ally next to his bar above his eye.Bryon and Mark feel its their fault he go shot because they played pool with the gang.

7. What do Mark and Cathy think of each other?

• They don't like each other because they both want to have Bryon for themselves.

8.What does Mark do to Angel?

• Mark cut most of Angel's hair off because she set him up in the fight at the dance.

9.In chapter seven, what does Bryon begin to notice about his good friend, Mark?

• He thinks that Mark is binging in more money than usual and as their both getting older, Bryon is spending less and less time with Mark.

10.What happened to Bryon at Terry Jones' house?

• Bryon was sitting on the porch when Angel's brothers drove up the drive way, got out and walked up to Bryon and beat him up for cutting off Angel's hair.When Mark and Terry found him they were sad.Mark really wanted to get back at them but Bryon said he's sick of "getting even."

11.In chapter nine, what happened to M&M?Why does this move Bryon?

• M&M goes to a hippie house place where people are doing drugs.M&M is very skinny with longer hair and takes in a bad gas that makes him go loopy and he says some crazy stuff about spiders. This moves Bryon because he feels that M&M is his little brother too.

12.What shocking discovery does Bryon make in Mark's bedroom?What does he do?

• Bryon discovers that Mark is selling an illegal drugs(pills) behind his back.When he finds out he tells the cops, who take him away for trial.

13. How does Bryon'srelationship with his friends and attitude toward life completely change?

• At the beginning of the book Bryon would always be in fights and causing trouble with Mark but then at the end of the the book when Mark went to jail, Bryon stopped fighting and made more friends than he had before.

14.How does Bryon feel at the end of the book?

• Bryon feels he should stop fighting and make a new lease on life.

15.What do you think about this book and what life lesson does it teach?

• In my opinion this is one of my favorite books i've ever read and it showed me that sometimes the right thing, may not feel like the right thing at first,but in the end it will turn for the better.
